About Us

OMNI Institute has partnered with Virginia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services since 2016 to facilitate the Virginia State Epidemiological Outcomes Workgroup (SEOW). The SEOW specifically falls under the DBHDS Office of Behavioral Health Wellness.


About the Office of Behavioral Health Wellness

The mission of the Office of Behavioral Health Wellness is to increase behavioral health wellness by promoting substance abuse prevention and mental health wellness in the environment, communities, and individuals. Their work utilizes data driven decision making and outcome evaluation to identify service priorities and monitor prevention system effectiveness and efficiency.

SEOW Meetings

SEOW meetings are held four times a year, either remote or in-person in Richmond, VA. Meetings are typically 1.5 - 2 hours. The agenda normally includes a data presentation from a state agency and updates/feedback on deliverables.
